COVID-19 VACCINATION

PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT THE SURGERY ABOUT THE COVID-19 VACCINATION

When you are invited you will receive a text from NHS-Noreply or a letter with a unique booking code and web link.

The Covid vaccination programme will start toward the end of week commencing 11th January.  We are working with 27 other practices and the Suffolk GP Federation to deliver the vaccination programme.  The Federation is owned by the GP Practices in Suffolk.

The first group of patients to be vaccinated will be those over 80 years of age.  We will also be vaccinating our Care Home residents.  In all the Suffolk GP Federation will be vaccinating 20,000 patients over 80.

If you would like your free flu vaccination and you are in the above age group please contact the Surgery to make an appointment.  

IMPORTANT ADVICE FOR OUR PATIENTS AND CARERS

The most important symptoms of coronavirus (COVID-19) are recent onset of any of the following:

  • a new continuous cough
  • a high temperature
  • a loss of, or change in, your normal sense of taste or smell (anosmia)

PLEASE DO NOT VISIT THE SURGERY IF YOU HAVE ANY OF THE SYMPTOMS ABOVE, STAY AT HOME AND ARRANGE TO HAVE A TEST ON WWW.GOV.UK.

For most people, COVID-19 will be a mild illness. However, if you have any of the symptoms above, stay at home and isolate for 10 days.  You should arrange to have a test - visit www.gov.uk.
