Medical examinations for special purposes (e.g. driving licence applications, elderly drivers, pre-employment, fitness to travel, fitness to take part in certain sports, insurance etc.) are not done during surgery times. A special appointment must be made and a fee, as recommended by the British Medical Association, may be payable.
Likewise a fee may be charged for private medical certificates, passport countersigning or for completion of insurance claim forms etc.
To avoid misunderstanding you are advised to check the cost with our secretary before you make an appointment.
