Reception

Our receptionists and secretary try to keep both doctors and patients happy; it can be a difficult job, so please be a patient patient! As well as meeting and greeting patients in person and on the telephone, they deal with many administrative roles. Please remember our receptionists are not clinically trained. Clinical questions will need to be referred to a doctor, nurse practitioner or nurse accordingly.

Community Midwives

A team of midwives help look after our pregnant patients in Glemsford. They arrange antenatal classes, and also visit mothers and babies after delivery. The midwives arrange their own appointments, please be aware that Midwives are not employed by the Practice. If you need to contact the midwives, they are available 08:00am – 17:00 seven days a week on the following contact number: 01284 712851.

Health Visitors

A health visitor is a registered nurse who has received training particularly related to babies, children and pregnant women. Their role is to provide families with children under five years old with support and advice around the general aspects of mental, physical and social wellbeing.
